The Willow Canyon "Alpha" Chapter of STEMCA AZ has been selected by the Science Foundation Arizona STEM Center as a model club for development of STEM Clubs in Arizona. WCHS STEM Club is a member of the Arizona STEM Network and received a grant from SFAz this year for STEM resources.
The WCHS STEM Club received a grant from the Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence, AzCase, for the new Adopt-a-Pi Computer Programming Pilot Program.
STEMCA Founder Serves Fellowship
Mr. Paul Tennyson received the Math and Science Teaching Fellowship 2008-2009 from ASU for a second year.
Mr. Tennyson worked with researchers in the areas of computer programming and robotics.
